Séries of paintings in various yoga center in India
and other country
“Landscape painter, Jean-Louis Cohen is in line with similar painters born in Italy in the 17th century. Ideal views of the countryside, fairytale architecture and genre scenes or alternate responsible for the wonderful myth and history … His works on canvas or fresco paintings – depict the golden age of nature seen as a “take place” , a refuge for the soul, in his show, favoring a landscape dominated by the calm and serenity. The return of light and atmospheric effects combining natural elements and imaginary seems to lead to a transient premeditated giving the impression of a still picture future, the suspended motion of a nature that we would love eternal in the heart of a perpetual motion. A Vision of harmony and peace
The paintings selected for over fifteen years is a world near the earthly paradise.
It is the feeling of peace, harmony motivates me and inspires me. The son of years the paintings have evolved, the first rather represent a Western view of the Eden, an abundant foliage, animals with a deprivation of property and social organization, (other than a painting for the museum and art gallery spiritual Gyan Sarovar is a command with a defined concept – the vision of paradise in India is based on the deities of wealth and abundance -).
As in the paintings tranforment with time, the influence of place and a spiritual experience leads me to reconsider the ideal of human relations. The transition is done with the painting “Heritance of beauty and brotherhood” created for the retreat center in New Delhi, where I chose to represent the same painting in the two visions of a better world. The following paints apparaisent palace with larger and some smaller characters.
Today, change is more significant ,elements of nature are predominant, the palace has more presence, creativity and the characters appear in the first plan.

This painting represents a unified vision of the concepts of the paradise of east (Indian tradition) and west
(Judeo-Christian tradition). On the one hand, it is a unified nature and on the other, golden relationships.
The entry of this cultural heritage is through a cornucopia in the sky from which springs this world.
The painting shows the confluence of time between the beginning and the end of a cycle. The dot in the center is a source of creation which transforms what is old and degraded into freshness and renewal. It is the action of the cyclic return of light and peace, which represents the eternal movement of life, the understanding of all things, the opening of the third eye. The realization of the time of confluence is not only to live in the present time, the “here and now”, but to live in a present which contains the meaning of the past and the future. It is a source of abundance, a heritage that leads to Mukti – liberation – and Jeevan mukti – liberation in life –

These Paintings are the fruit of figurative research. For one it is a horizon of memories of the past. A Unicorn is in the company of a young fawn. The characters, inspired by Claude Lorrain, were painted by an Indian artist passing through. For the other “Clover”, a painting or composition is more sought after, it symbolizes an idea of gestation where the clover hides the mystery of a creation, as the adjacent mountain reveals a bird.

It is the spirit of novelty that guided me for this painting. What I wanted to show in this painting is the proximity of our interior and exterior paradise. The woman (Muslim because we are in Malaysia) who is looking is outside her world of harmony and the child represents the inner child who crosses the frame and puts her hands in this new world. of the painting is to show the imminent and necessary reality of this world. The phoenix is the bird which is reborn from its ashes. He thus shows that sculpture the eternal return of all things

I had a lot of joy and intoxication to paint the fresco of the Goodland auditorium because it symbolizes for me the most important message that is: the return to the Source, at the original point of all creation: the ” Bindu ”, the Shiva point. This unique moment in the history of the life cycle where everyone can find silence, peace, liberation by understanding the imminence, the call of the present time. The fresco draws us towards this central point of stability thanks to the movement of the clouds which represents the great upheaval of nature, like a big “Big bang” of the elements which finally opens towards a paradise with a palace which represents prosperity and two teenagers who play and dance in harmony and symbolize peace and purity.

Wall painting 15m2 ” Swans “
The very dreamlike and fantastic painting shows the destination of the teaching of Raja-Yoga.
A path of lightness where two yogis sitting close to the lotus – flowers with a strong spiritual symbolism which take root in the mud and turn their heads out of the water towards the sun -. They are accompanied by two swans, which represent the power of discernment. We find the flight of the peacock, the spiritual elevation towards the source of peace and the acquisition of the status of sovereign with the crown. It is the crossing of the river – the bridge, the ark, – where from the Ocean of the world there is a march towards the original and eternal creation of the new world of Eden.
